Australia’s Leading Facade Testing Agency
Get in touch to organise a facade test to verify the watertightness of your building and to assist with FP1.4 or F3P1 Certification. Our expertise lies in providing comprehensive field testing services for building envelopes, ensuring compliance with industry standards for air and water infiltration. Whether it’s verifying the performance of installed curtain wall systems with AAMA 501.2 (Quality Assurance and Diagnostic Water Leakage Field Check) or performing ASTM E1105 (Standard Test Method for Field Determination of Water Penetration of Installed Exterior Windows, Skylights, Doors, and Curtain Walls), we deliver accurate, reliable results.
Our team of facade engineers provide facade testing in line with the following procedures:
AAMA 501.2 Quality Assurance and Water Field Check of Installed Storefronts, Curtain Walls and Sloped Glazing Systems; or
ASTM E1105 (Standard Test Method for Field Determination of Water Penetration of Installed Exterior Windows, Skylights, Doors, and Curtain Walls); or
CWCT TN41 Site testing for watertightness; or
A tailored test to suit your building’s specifications.
AAMA501.2
AMA 501.2 is a crucial test that ensures your building's exterior can withstand the harshest weather conditions, protecting your investment for years to come.
This test evaluates how well windows, curtain walls, and storefronts hold up against water penetration. By conducting this test after installation, we can catch any issues before your building is fully completed, giving you peace of mind knowing everything is up to standard and fully protected.
ASTM E1105
ASTM E1105 is an essential test that ensures your building’s exterior can effectively resist water infiltration, keeping your property safe and dry no matter the weather.
This test evaluates how well windows, doors, and curtain walls prevent water from entering during simulated wind driven rainfall and pressure conditions. By applying controlled water and pressure to the installed exterior systems, we can check for any leaks or weaknesses in the structure. This ensures everything is sealed properly before the project is finalised.
